I Forgot

Getting a call from one of my dearest friends! Checking out things at Odyssey i see my phone ringing. We talked for a long time ,30 mins or so!i was wandering through each and every space between the book shelves but i was doing the most unsual thing that people do when they go in a book store. Instead of checking the books i was happily and loudly talking over phone.Some people looking at me as if from wherein this alien come kinda!

One week later i call her again and to my utmost shock i realise that the day when she called me at Odyssey was her birthday eve

Oh god! she pulled my legs like anything and then on i decided , next time i wont even miss any of my dearest friends b days.But how can i do that?! Eureka ! My good old middle aged(yeah its been 2 yrs since i bought that )Sony Ericsson w1200 is the answer

I go to put a note on every b day eve of my dearest friends and set a reminder for me to call them

The first one was Mr Karkhana.The b day eve morning i call him up .he was sleeping. and i left it there. He calls me back after sometime and we talked .I wished him . Call ended


11 30 in morning my collegue near my desktop hears a startling sound.My mobile is ringing .Its the reminder !Yeah i put the reminder as 11 30 AM instead of 11 30 pm.

I got attention immediately.People started asking ! is it your wake up alarm in office? bla bla I gave a faint smile

Next was the turn of Miss T,i put my mobile on silent mode on the day morning at office and again it was " AM " and not "PM"

Thankfully this time reminder didnt create any prob. I called her up for a brief talk and i told her i ll call later.( i thought 11 30 at night).But i ended up calling her at 1 30 in morning when poor thing was almost half asleep


Next Mrs T. People say humans have a tendency to behave in same way as their companions.But i want to add one thing to that . I discovered that not only human but also mobiles have the same habit! Yeah i never knew my mobile inherited my forgetting habit. First of all I created a reminder for July 6, thinking that it was on July 7( i forgot again) and my dearest mobile didnt give me a reminder on July 6 . And Mrs T b day was on July 10 and i realized this only on July 13th by asking her ! Ahmm by the way i think i forgot your b day when was it?! Thank god she was not near me
Two more b day dates is still in reminder!

But before that there is an important date! My parents 35 th wedding anniversary!.What should i do not to forget that!

By the way i m planning to change the mobile ! Beware friends (the ones whose b days are pending) there is a warning: I may forget that also!

But one thing is sure i wont forget the love and care they ve given me !
