My Moments in Satyam

When i write this blog today, my company is in news for all wrong reasons.The clouds of grim future of this company and my job is slowly covering my dreams wishes and hopes.When i look back at those one and half years i had in Satyam, i had some great moments.But today i am writing of that wonderful, yet short, but lovely moment i had some months ago.

It all started with shifting of my office to another location.
Me and my team member ,who is also my roomie and my best pal, got workstations in a cabin near to the lifts in 8 th floor of this building.
Things started to settle quite normal for us.The pros and cons of getting cabin as workstation was many.
We were isolated from my other team members and colleagues.The pros !!! heheheh ! it was also a great stress reliever, you could watch all those beautiful girls coming out and going in to those two lifts

Bird watching( the technical term for checking girls,according to me) was one thing i always loved.
You are quite sure that you wont get the girls you watch and you need not be sad that she s not yours.Just need to check those beautiful creations and carry on your with your life.

I don't know when it started but during these bird watching sessions i started noticing one girl in particular.Why i started noticing her!!! i don't remember!! oh ya she always used to come down from cafeteria after lunch between 2 20 pm and 2 30 pm she was never too late and never too early.
She was not that sexy hot chick which makes a guys' heads turn.A normal girl , with a cute face, lean, short and a little long hair.Her only other noticeable feature was her spectacles .

I started noticing her and so she !!. It was the fun.She used to come near those lifts. She would first go to the right lift ,press the button and she would turn a little back and stand and then she will look towards my cabin.
My seating position was perfect for noticing all her actions . The best part was the cute glance she used to give me after pressing the lift button. At first she didn't realize that i was noticing her. One day she did the same chore.But that day i looked at her, and made her known to her through my eyes that Girl i am admiring you.
She realized it and she moved backwards so that i cant see her from my cabin. I waited.

All these bird watching experiences have taught me one thing.Be patient!!

If she is interested she will come again.That s exactly what happened .She moved to the front a little while later.But she did one foolish thing !! she looked straight at my cabin.There i was catching her glances .She knew she was caught.Smart girl she is she went towards the other lift , the lift near to me .Pressed the button and stood in front of that lift.Now that made my life a little difficult .Because i needed to look towards my extreme left , a little painful for my neck.

I decided i wont turn my neck.
i just kept my vision straight .Waiting for her next response.But i was unlucky .That damned lift opened and she went in.

Now from that day the real fun started.Next day i made sure that i am there at my seat anytime by 2 15 pm after the lunch.But i was little skeptical.The reason was that ,Cafeteria was at 10 th floor and she will get a lift from 9 th floor.There is no reason why she should come to 8 th floor.
I waited the next day , 2 20 2 25 2 30 .She didn't turn up .I thought -mm just that one among those bird watchings. I opened my cabin door and went toward vending machine to get a tea.
I walked and landed in front of her. She has come back and she was walking towards the lift

Now that made all my plans in frenzy. I cant turn back and go to the seat.Then she will understand and it may spoil all the fun.What should i do!! i thought.I decided i will get tea and come back with a ray of hope that she will be there near the lift
When i came back she was still there .Oh ya i am was happy .But guys it was not because she wanted to see me again.The reason was the two lifts were taking some time to come up.
Nevertheless i was happy i could see her again.

This continued almost for 3 weeks with she coming almost at the same time and me catching and responding to her stares from my cabin

In between i also saw her when i was coming out of office. Sometimes in lift .Sometimes when i was swiping my card to get out of my office
Those days were wonderful
But all wonderful things wont last long.My team changed .That mean i need to vacate my cabin and move to 9 th floor
I was very unhappy coz i wont be able to see this cute girl talking to me through her eyeS I will be missing thosewonderful moments.

I moved to 9 th floor .For one or two days i came to 8 th floor at the same time to catch a glimpse of her. Unfortunately i couldn't see her.

Slowly i forgot her. One fine day , one week back i saw her again in the cafeteria. I didn't waste any time i made sure i was visible to her .she gave a quick glance and went as if to show"You forgot me i wont look at you again!!!! kinda look

Then again one day to my utter shock i realized that she has started taking lifts from 9 th floor instead of 8 th floor .
Was she searching for me again?
Why did she start taking lift from 9 th floor?
Has those wonderful moments ended? or will it continue ?

A whole lot of questions came to my mind

In these difficult and uncertain times , she still manages to give that wonderful glance to me.
Event hough it may be for a second or two
She still remembers ! May she might have enjoyed like what i enjoyed

Don t know .But how much i enjoyed and how much i yearned for those moments i cant say.

It seems to be seen whether Satyam will still be running and me still be working in this company

But one thing for sure , this was a wonderful moment which I cherish.!!!
